I am happy to report that we’re over 1000 players in the Grapevine tournament… Don’t get stressed over the number of people, it just makes it more exciting when you win the $1,500 top prize!

Currently Marco_West_84 is in first place with a total of 50,580! I’ve had a good run myself and sit in 53rd place with a total of 22,875! But… I still have one round left to play. I didn’t want to finish all my playing time at once, tt was just too much excitement for me! I actually hit the free spins feature within a set of free spins! But my luck only could take me so far, I didn’t get one hit on the second set of spins.

If you’re in one of the top places and you’d like to share a tip or secret to success please feel free to leave a comment here. I am sure all our readers would love to hear about it.

Win $1,500 for free!

A friendly reminder to everyone that the Grapevine III tournament is starting tonight at 12:01 AM GMT and running until Thursday September 27th at 8:00 AM GMT! There are hundreds of cash prizes to be won and it’s totally free! Be sure to tell your friends and relatives about this one… who wouldn’t be interested in $1,500!

As always, if you have some advice you’d like to share with our faithful readers please post a comments.

Good luck to everyone !

The situation with the US market is still very much in limbo. Various organizations continue to put pressure on the government to repeal of change the UEIGA act. I came across this video from the APCW (Association of Players, Casinoo’s & Webmasters) which I thought was both provocative, insightful and worth sharing with everyone…

It’s back…

Mark your calendars , get comfy, and start working out your index finger, because we’re bringing back the no-entry-fee Grape Vine tournament where someone will win big prizes!

Yes, the first two tournaments were such a huge success that casino management is going to be running a $5,000 tournament next week from Tuesday, September 25th at 12:01 AM GMT until Thursday September 27th at 8:00 AM GMT!

The prize pool is still being determined, so stay tuned, but…

While you’re waiting for the Grape Vine, why not check out the exclusive September Rush tournament which begins tonight at midnight GMT (September 18th at 12:00 AM) and runs for two days. It’s a free-entry tournament with re-buys.

But back to the Grape Vine III… this one should be the biggest of them all. While the first Grape Vine tournament landed nearly 1,000 players and the second one hit the 1,500 player mark, we’re aiming for 5,000 players (to correspond to the $5,000 prize pool, of course)! So go on tell your friends all about it – there will also be some mystery prizes given out randomly and like the others, this one won’t disappoint.

If there are any slot tournament experts out there who’d like to share some advice on what strategies work best (lucky charms or wagering techniques) and when the best time to play (earlier or later) is, please feel free to post a comment. I always say, “The more clever the better!”

Here are some more updates straight from the casino floor!

This week’s hot slot: Hitman and The Grand Circus are the hottest slots in town. Both have them paid out over $400,000 since the beginning of the month!

What’s not: Unless you’re a die- hard fan, I would avoid Seven Ocean’s and Goblins Gold. Both of them seem to have gone really cold for the past 4 days.

Hope everyone out there has a winning weekend!

UK tightens the law

Well, it took two years for this day to come, but UK’s 2005 Gambling Act went into effect yesterday.

I think it is going to be very interesting to see what happens – a lot of the terms and conditions will need to be changed and it will be closely monitored. But in general, I think this is an excellent step for online gambling worldwide. It goes to show other countries that this market is here to stay and it can be regulated.

In terms of the Jackpot Factory, I wanted to clarify a few things. UK players are still more than welcome at our casino. However, we are constrained in our ability to advertise until we receive the correct license which we are in the process of applying for.

You see, the new law allows only casinos with an UK or EU license to actively market. And the Jackpot Factory operates on a Kahnawake license, which is located outside Montreal. Highly respected, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission has applied for an exception which will allow its licensed casinos to advertise in the UK.

So while this gets sorted out on our side, I wanted to let our British players know that our doors will always be open!
