It’s been a while since I have posted on the situation in the US. Recently we’ve have issues with the state of Kentucky trying to seize the domains of many online casino establishments. This doesn’t relate directly to banking but it’s another sign of the handwriting on the wall. Unless the government gets its act together online gaming within the US is at risk.  I’ve said this many times before, reputable and honest online casinos are going to have no choice but to pack up and leave. Their void will be filled by dishonest online casinos which are going to literally steal people’s money. If time has taught us anything it’s that people will gamble. I just hope they’ll have a honest place to do that.Unfortunately, this just doesn’t seem to be a big enough issue to get the attention of the major players inside Washington.  I just hope they won’t start paying attention when it’s too late…

This post isn’t going to be about online casinos. Once in a while I like to switch things up and put in stuff that I think is just plain interesting and noteworthy. As such, it’s been announced that tonight the moon will be the biggest and brightest full moon to be seen for 15 years

Why is this so? Tonight the moon will swing by the Earth at its closest distance, 356,613km (221,595 miles) away, which is about 28,000km closer than average. The unusual feature of tonight’s proximity to moon is that it coincides with a full moon, which will make it appear 14 per cent bigger and some 30 per cent brighter than most full moons this year. The next closest encounter with a full moon this large will not be until November 14, 2016.

So does this mean the online slot Moonshine will be paying big dividends this weekend? You tell me…
