Archive for February, 2009

This weeks featured slot is Burning Desire. Marc M. won $150,000 just yesterday! I guess the Valentine’s Day spirit is still with us since this game was on fire a few weeks ago too!

Our cold pick is Thunderstruck. That game is simply not paying out at all. If you do have some luck with this game please let us know about it!

Hope everyone has a winning weekend…

A Pattern Emerges

 width=

I hope you all had a romantic Valentine’s Day playing Burning Desire. Now I want to tell you about another one of the new February games in the Jackpot Factory casinos. It’s called Bearly Fishing, and it’s all about a Papa Bear and a Baby Bear out on a fishing trip. It has a cool free-spins feature, in which Papa Bear pulls the fish from the river and tosses them to Baby Bear to catch in his basket. You determine where Baby Bear stands, and the more fish he catches in the basket, the higher the multiplier on your free spins.

Well, I was playing some Bearly Fishing (just for fun, Jackpot Factory employees are not allowed to play the games for real money) when I suddenly realized something. Last May, the Jackpot Factory released Alley Cats, about cats who bowl. Then, in October, they released Spike’s Night Out, about dogs playing poker. And now we have bears that fish. Anyone notice a pattern here?

Enjoy the games!

P.S. The Mega Moolah and Mega Moolah 5-Reel Drive jackpots have passed the 5.4 million mark. I definitely advise getting in on these games before someone else wins the jackpot.

Meet another team member

Here’s the next interview in our series of Meet our Team. Today we’re talking with Alex P.:

David Brickman: Alex, how long have you been a Jackpot Factory support agent?
Alex P.: I began training in mid-August and started working as an agent in the beginning of September, 2008.

DB: What’s your responsibility in the support center?
AP: I used to do support for English and Italian players, but for about the last month and a half I’ve been dedicated to the Italian market.

DB: What’s your favorite part of the job?
AP: My favourite part is the people. I made some good friends here and it is really nice to work with them.

DB: What’s the hardest support issue you ever had to solve?
AP: A customer sent an email asking about 20 or 25 specific questions about roulette, I had to do some extensive research to find all the answers.

DB: Do you have a pet? What’s its name?
AP: I use to have tropical fish but it has been a while since I had any.

DB: Anything else you’d like to share?
AP: I have been a teacher for over 20 years; I loved teaching and still do (I still teach part-time at a local college). It took some time to get used to working in casino support after doing the same work for such a long time, but I really enjoy the work and the challenges it offers.

Meet our team!

I thought it would be interesting for everyone out there to get to know our casino support staff a little better, so I did some interviews with our best and brightest support agents. I’ll try and post an interview once a week. Be on the lookout for your favorite support agent. If you have an agent you’ve worked with and would like to know more about just give me a shout!

Our first support staff interview is with Maria K.

David Brickman: Maria, how long have you been a Jackpot Factory support agent?
Maria K.: I started working here in the middle of December, 2008.

DB: What’s your responsibility in the support center?
MK: Regular e-mails and chats. I enjoy getting to know the players and being able to help them out.

DB: What’s your favorite part of the job?
MK: Chats. Because it’s in real time, I know immediately that the player on the other end is getting the help he or she needs, and it’s really satisfying that by the end of the chat session, the problem has been solved.

DB: What’s the hardest support issue you ever had to solve?
MK: Technical issues. It’s so frustrating when an issue is out of my hands and there’s nothing I can do personally to solve the problem. It’s just a matter of waiting and trying to reassure the players while our technical team works to fix the issue as soon as possible.

DB: Do you have a pet? What’s its name?
MK: I love dogs and wish I had one, but unfortunately, at the moment it’s not possible for me to own a pet.

DB: Anything else you’d like to share?
MK: I like working at Jackpot Factory support and enjoy the friendly, welcome atmosphere here.

The new February games are out at All Slots Casino, and topping the list is Burning Desire. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this 5-reel video slot machine is filled with symbols of romance like diamonds, roses, and fiery hearts. But what makes this new game truly revolutionary is that it has no paylines. Every position on the reels counts equally. So if you get, for example, a diamond anywhere on the first reel, another diamond anywhere on the second reel, and a third diamond anywhere on the third reel, there you go! You have a winner. All told, there are 243 ways to win when you don’t have to worry about paylines.

Burning Desire has other cool features like a wild symbol, a scatter symbol, and free spins with tripled payouts. So between now and Valentine’s Day, I would let the romantic soul that I know is somewhere deep inside each of you shine forth and play a few spins of Burning Desire.

Hot Online Casino Games!

So funny enough the hot game this week is Summertime.. Sort of ironic seeing how we’re amidst the winter!

Congratulations to Eva W. who won $14,000 this week on Summertime! I think Deborah R. would argue about Summertime being the hot slot of the week since she won $13,000 on Legacy!

Our cold picks for the weekend are Golden Goose Genies Gems and The Osbournes. I wouldn’t bet too heavily on those two games.

Hope everyone has a winning weekend.

Back in the office…

So it’s back to the daily grind this week after a very exciting week in London at IGE. One of the most interesting parts of the week was meeting with other operators and hearing how they deal with issues in the online gaming sector.  I always say that as much as we’re competitors we also need to learn to work together.  We also had some very productive meeting with both E-Cogra and GamCare who monitor responsible gaming issues. The social responsibility side of the business is one we take extremely seriously  here at the Jackpot Factory Online Casino Group.I’ll get back to the regular updates on hot games and other exciting casino developments this week…
