You’ve probably wondered who dreams up all this cool stuff that the online casinos do? Well, most casinos have a marketing department who help identify who their target audience is and what they are looking for. Determining your target will help you determine what type of promotion to run. Do I run a lottery, draw, contest, or giveaway? There are also some legal constraints in certain jurisdictions that require you to phrase a promotion in a certain way.

Along with the marketing team there is generally a creative team. Once the audience is identified, the creative team will think of a way to match that target with something exciting, interesting and fun! They are usually in charge of both the design & content. Basically it’s the entire pack our players see.

I’ll bet you didn’t realize how much work went into an online casino promotion? That’s only half the story… I will share the rest soon!

At-risk gamblers

I am going to dedicate this post to a very serious and sometimes sensitive topic. How do we deal with at risk gamblers? I will also touch briefly on underage gambling since they are often mistakenly lumped into the same category.

Underage gambling is when someone who is under the legal age to gambles successfully enters an online casino to make a bet. How can this be prevented? Firstly we do have several notifications and disclaimers asking if a player is of the legal age. OK, but unfortunately some teenagers will simply lie. That’s where we have several checks and balances in place once a player registers a payment option. Generally with these risk checks we’re able to catch underage registrations immediately and lock the account. We also often request a valid ID to further ensure underage gamblers to not make it into the system.

“At-risk” gamblers is when someone had a gambling addiction and put themselves and their loved ones at risk. Gambling is supposed to be a fun past time, a way to relax while doing something entertaining, but sometimes people get caught up in the moment and gamble beyond their means. When this happens we direct them to several of the non -profit institutes that specialize in assisting at-risk gamblers. We also have them lock their accounts with us to remove all temptation. If you or someone you know has a gambling addiction, feel free to contact us and we can point you in the right direction. We take our social responsibility quite seriously and would do everything we can to help.

Remember, gambling is supposed to be for fun. When it stops being fun you’ve probably gone too far.

Kings of Cash

Kings of Cash is another fun new online slots game at All Slots Casino. The Kings of Cash are actually your four favorite kings: the kings of spades, clubs, hearts, and diamonds.

What I love about this slot machine is that it plays this very majestic regal music that is totally incongruous with these four silly kings. And when you win a jackpot, the music becomes even more grandiose while the kings do a little dance that makes them even sillier. The whole effect was so perfectly ridiculous it had me laughing out loud while I was playing the slot machine.

On the serious side, Kings of Cash has everything you’ve come to expect in a top online slot game from the folks at All Slots: 15 paylines, a wild symbol, scatter symbols, a bonus game, free spins, and big jackpots. So give it a spin, have a good laugh, and when you hit the slots jackpot you will feel like the new King (or Queen, as the case may be) of Cash.

Online Blackjack

This blog has always focused on slots and slots tournaments so I thought I would drop a few words about Blackjack. BJ is known to be a slightly more intellectual game even though there is a high degree of luck built into the game. Also, the gaming environment often dictates the cars you’ll receive. When playing at a land based casino you might hit or stick on all the correct cards, but if the guy (or gal) sitting two seats down hits on the “wrong” card your strategy might get all messed up.

When you play online of course you play can play alone but then you miss out on the stimulating conversation you often get when playing with strangers!

So is there a perfect BJ strategy? I say, who cares. It’s called gambling! Take a chance sometimes, double up on 9, hit on 14, stick with 12 when the dealer shows an face card. Maybe overall the percentages are against you but once in a while you might as well take a chance.

“Horror” is probably a little bit of an exaggeration, but for players who have had problems that’s exactly how they feel. Waiting to receive a withdrawal or to be credited with a promotional bonus are generally the two most “problematic” areas for players and where emotions run high. It’s at those points when they are invested in a situation and are sometimes fairly anxious to receive a resolution.

Please don’t get me wrong, I am not criticizing players in the least bit. Especially for new players in the market, this period can be very daunting and a little nerve-wrecking. Is this casino going to pay me? Will I ever get my bonus? Unfortunately, there are online casinos that do everything they can not to pay a player and not to own up the bonuses they have promised. That’s why I always say, it’s up the player to do some basic research similar to what they’d do with any sizable purchase.

Know which online casino you are playing at. Are they accredited by any independent organization? Do they have a parent company? Do they have reviews posted? Yes, there are players who’ve had issues at casinos which have all of the above but the chances of receiving a satisfactory resolution increase dramatically when it’s a reliable online gaming establishment.

Don’t get too excited, if I could really answer that I would be on the other side of the fence playing at the online casino and not just working at one!

But what I can do is give you some tips to have a better experience. First of all, know your games. Some games can have a consistent payout schedule with smaller wins while others have more infrequent payouts but larger wins. You need to decide what sort of game is for you. Are you a risk taker? Do you prefer frequent rewards? Decide on w hat’s best suitable both for you and your bankroll then do some research into the game types. You can even contact me directly for some tips on strategies for online slots! Whatever game you play, be sure to bring lady luck with you.

Gone Fishing

All Slots Casino has just released a terrific new online slot game called Alaskan Fishing. Alaskan Fishing has amazing graphics of all the elements of a colorful Alaskan fishing trip: the fisherman, the fish (of course), the fishing reel and lures and tackle box, the fishing boat and float plane, and the incredible Alaskan wildlife.

But the best part of Alaskan Fishing online slots is the 243 Ways to win. “Ways” to win does away with the restrictions of the traditional online slot machine paylines. It means, for example, that if you get a Boat symbol anywhere on Reel 1, another Boat anywhere on Reel 2, and a third Boat anywhere on Reel 3, you’re a winner! Get a couple more Boats on Reels 4 and 5, and you win even more!

Then, on top of the 243 Ways to win, there are special Alaskan Fishing features like stacked wild symbols, free spins with doubled payouts, scatter wins, and the Fly Fishing bonus game. What it all adds up to is an exciting Alaskan Fishing expedition with lots of fish to be caught and lots of slots jackpots to be won. So give Alaskan Fishing a try, and let me know what you think.
