I remember my first bet when I was 9 years old; I lost it to my grandfather and even though it was a small amount I insisted on paying him back. In fact, I had to fight him so that he’d take the money. The point is that I’m a man of my word.
And now I’ve promised the bloggers a reward, too. So loyal readers get ready for an exclusive free, no-money buy-in slot tournament with a winner-take-all prize of $2,500! Yes, you read that correctly – 2,500 smackers for the winner. I’m working finishing the details with the casino manager and when I have the final date (probably next week), I will post it on the blog – only on the blog.
Here’s how it’s going to work: The tournament will be open for 48 hours and at the end the player with the highest score will be rewarded with the $2,500 prize! I’m going to give the free tournament a code name and reveal the name on the blog. Anyone at All Jackpots Casino can play, but the point of the code name is to limit interest – see if I’ll call it the FREE $2,500 TOURNAMENT everyone will jump at it, right? So the code name will attract mainly you and fellow blog readers. I haven’t decided on the actual code name, but it will be something along the lines of Chicken Run or Fish n’ Chips. Feel free to suggest the name – maybe I’ll use it.
Now, onto other slot tournament news, I’ve just played in the slot tournament called the David Brickman Special, which is open for another 40 hours or so. I scored 11,930 points, which was good enough for 18th place – at least when I finished playing. Is there anyone who can beat me? My alias is David_Brickman, of course.

David, As to the name of the tournament, how about following the motorcyles and calling it “the dog run”?
July 18th, 2007 at 7:38 pm
David, can’t wait for the tournament to begin, how about calling it “Fifth Reel Blog”.
Have a great day and thanks for the info you are providing us with.

Hey there David,
Wow…
Listen, i feel like a community is slowly created here, and this is what blogging is all about isn’t it?
I suggest we call the tournament next week “Heard it through the grape vine”, or merely “Grape Vine”. What do you think?
Good luck to all of us, $2500 suits me!

David, Wow, thanks! A no buy in tournament, what more could us bloggers ask. The code should be “Trust in Us”! Is there a way it could be on an older slot? I am sure others can relate to the fact that since the issues started with the US government stepping in on our banking that we are also having trouble downloading new games. That stinks, oh well, I found a way to still play the older games-bring up the casino (but do not connect) before you bring up your internet connection. Hope this helps people. Thanks, Nicolette VIPRxxxx0301

Hey David, I love your tips for us die-hard players. How about calling your tourny The JF Blogger’s Special?
July 20th, 2007 at 1:23 am
I wish when I play in a tourney…that if you are in the middle of Free Spins at the end…that that would be honored and you be allowed to finish the Free Spins Round…that’s only fair.

Nicolette,
I can download all the new games and I’m from U.S. I had problems at one time and AllSlots still gives me an error message, but I can download and play all games - new and old.

Hey David, thanks for the great blog and the tourney - I’ll be watching for it. Here’s something you can call it - “From the guy at the end of the bar!” =)
Also I agree with Robin, if free spins are triggered during the tourney time, then they should be allowed to run to the end even if the time runs out.

I 2nd that motion on the free spins - I can’t count how many times that has happened to me and ARGH !!!!!
Is that something that you have to take up with microgaming ??

I SAY CALL IT THE “LOVE TOURNAMENT”
July 24th, 2007 at 8:43 pm

July 31st, 2007 at 5:45 pm
Hummmm, about this hitting free spins, and u run out of time to play them…well I have been there to….I am wondering if Microgaming, can actually have the timer stop if u hit free spins…then when they are done, the timer starts again? I think that would be a good way, to have the spins in a tournament….. Oh well hopefully they will think of something…Cheers all!!!!

Thanks Shorty777, that’s probably the same message I was getting. I can now play and download all games, with the help of casino support I learned that I needed to uninstall and reinstall the casino, so easy to do! Kudos AGAIN to casino support team!
